Personality is a trajectory, not a type.
What Arcus is
Arcus is built around one idea: you are never one fixed point. The four assessments each trace a different part of that motion.
The name comes from the Latin word for arc. An arc has a shape, a direction, and a span. It connects where you were to where you're going.
Why we built it
Personality tests are everywhere. Too many take a snapshot and call it the whole picture. You answer a batch of questions, get sorted into a category, and the result becomes a label.
Arcus captures direction. Your energy rises and falls. Your sense of self sharpens or softens. The way you relate to time shifts as life changes. That movement is the arc.
What you get
Four short assessments, each measuring a different part of who you are. Take one at a time, in any order.
- 01Where you stand. A specific position on each dimension, not a label.
- 02Which direction you're heading. Whether a pattern is building, settling, opening, or consolidating.
- 03The fuller picture. When you take more than one assessment, you can see how different parts of your life interact.
What to keep in mind
Arcus is for self-discovery and reflection. It doesn't diagnose anything.
Every assessment is grounded in published psychology. Arcus itself is not a validated clinical instrument. A test that claims more than it can back up helps nobody.
